Super Simple Tak Toritang 닭도리탕Recipe

I have no story today. I've been craving this, so I made it. Ares said it was good. My best friend said it's restaurant worthy. Let's get into the recipe.

- 5 cloves of garlic minced

- 3 red chili peppers finely chopped

- 3 tbsp gochujaru

- 1 tbsp eryhtritol

- 3 tbsp gochijang

- 3 tbsp soy sauce

- 6 drumsticks

- 2 onions

- 2 green onions

- 2 potatoes

- 2 carrots

- 200g enoki mushrooms

- 200g cabbage

- 1 pack glass noodles

  1. Mix together the garlic, chili peppers, gochujaru, erythritol, gochujang, and soy sauce. If you want it to be spicier, add more gochujaru and chili peppers.

  2. Place the drumsticks in a pot and cover them with some sauce.

  3. Start layering the vegetables and sauce. Tak toritang typically contains onions, green onions, potatoes, and carrots. Other than that, you can honestly put whatever vegetables you want.

  4. Cook covered on low heat for an hour. Mix at 30 minutes if needed to ensure that it does not stick to the bottom of the pot. Do not add any water, the juice from the vegetables will come out.

  5. At the end, add in glass noodles or vermicelli and it's ready to serve!
