Places to Visit in Taoyuan—Taoyuan Animal Farm Tickets
Pushin Ranch Taoyuan animal farm tickets for adults 18 and above is NT$300 (USD$10) . Except for children under 3 who enter for free, all other ticket types include a free admission voucher for the "Cutie Village" (petting farm area).
On weekdays, the Cutie Village voucher can be used to enter the feeding interaction area without additional cost (feeding grass not included). On weekends, entering Cutie Village costs NT$50 with complimentary grass and carrots for feeding.
I personally recommend booking tickets online — you’ll also receive free vouchers for in-park activities and discounts. When you arrive, simply scan the QR code to enter. It’s convenient, time-saving, and overall more cost-effective.
Additionally, kangaroo interactions and alpaca walks are only available through online reservations with limited slots each day. Those tickets are not sold on-site.

Afternoon and starlight tickets are only sold on-site, but Pushin Ranch is huge with many animals. Cutie Village closes at 16:00, and Pushin Ranch closes at 17:00. The starlight ticket really doesn't offer enough time to enjoy everything — as soon as you enter, you’ll be rushing to feed the animals, and after that, it’s a quick walk around before you have to leave. I recommend arriving earlier in the day.
If you're looking for a family-friendly farm, this place also has a water play area and the Capybara Playground for kids, which includes small amusement rides like a mini Ferris wheel. The Capybara Playground attractions require additional fees, but if you book tickets online, there’s a special offer that includes three free rides. There are also other attractions like pedal boats and a railroad tour.
For adults, there’s a Japanese-style garden, Cherry Blossom Plaza, and Chunqing Lake — all great spots for instaworthy photos.
Places to Visit in Taoyuan—Pushin Ranch: Transportation
For public transportation, you can take the free L613 community shuttle bus from either Yangmei Train Station or Puxin Rear Train Station to the Pushin Ranch stop. All other transportation options involve a long walk or taking a taxi. You can check the L613 timetable and route map here.
Personally, I think driving is the most convenient option. The parking lot at Pushin Ranch is quite spacious — both regular cars and buses are charged a flat rate of NT$100 per entry, while scooters are NT$50.
Places to Visit in Taoyuan—Pushin Ranch: Farm Animals
In addition to the petting farm area at Cutie Village, Pushin Ranch offers other paid interactive experiences that must be booked online and are limited in number daily. After booking, remember to arrive 10 minutes prior at the seating area next to the Cutie Village Handmade Gift Shop to check in.
Kangaroo Baby Mother Breeding Experience
Due to the specific interaction needs of red kangaroos, a keeper must accompany all sessions. It’s an online reservation-only, paid experience. The cost is NT$390 per person, which includes admission to Pushin Ranch but not entry to Cutie Village.
Sessions are available on Tuesdays and Fridays from 15:00 to 15:30, limited to 8 participants per day in a designated interaction zone.
Kangaroo feed is included in the ticket price. Please note that the grass and carrots sold in Cutie Village are not suitable for kangaroos. After the session, participants receive a certificate to prove their experience which is really cute for families planning to bring young children.
Romantic Wlak with Alpacas
Booking slots for the next two months are available on KKDAY. The experience is only offered on Saturdays and Sundays from 15:00 to 15:30, with just one group session per day — spots sell out quickly, so early booking is a must. (On the mobile app, scroll to the last option and tap “More Packages” to find it — it’s listed at the very bottom.)
The experience costs NT$800 per group, with admission tickets to the ranch charged separately. Each group can include up to 4 people. Two servings of alpaca feed are provided, and you can feed the alpacas while walking them. The most fun part? They also provide two sets of costumes with straw hats and other accessories for a fun photo shoot with the alpacas!
Places to Visit in Taoyuan—Pushin Ranch: Petting Farm
At the entrance to Cutie Village, you can buy vegetables or grass to feed the animals. I recommend getting a bundle of feeding grass(leaves?) — it’s only NT$50, every type of animal here can eat it, and it’s a huge bundle! Compared to other petting farms, Pushin Ranch is super generous with the amount of feed they provide.
Pushin Ranch is pet-friendly — dogs are allowed on the ground throughout the ranch, but they can’t enter Cutie Village, not even in a stroller. You can leave your dog at the counter near the entrance of Cutie Village. My friend and I took turns entering for the feeding interaction while the other waited outside with Spock. The animals inside were super curious about little Spock watching from beyond the fence!
Barbados Blackbelly Sheep
Although they’re called “sheep,” Barbados Blackbelly Sheep actually have coarse hair and were originally bred for meat.
Right at the entrance of Cutie Village, a whole group of them greets you. Like goats, they can be a bit aggressive when it comes to grabbing food. Some of them even jump up and placed their front hooves on me like dogs do. But overall, Barbados Blackbelly Sheep are gentle animals, so there’s no need to worry.
Capybaras
Capybaras are THE hottest thing in farms these days. When I visited Pushin Ranch, there happened to be two baby capybaras. If you’re looking for a Taoyuan animal farm, now’s the time to go — baby capybaras are especially adorable! And honestly, they’re pretty easy to “bribe” — I got one to come over to the fence just by waving some leaves, which also gave curious little Spock a close-up look.
Alpacas
This was the first time I truly found alpacas cute. Their interactions with my dog were just too funny! The moment they saw Spock outside the fence, they walked right over, completely ignoring anyone trying to feed them. They just bent down and stared, curiously checking out this tiny little creature.
Places to Visit in Taoyuan—Pushin Ranch: Shows
There are also a cowboy sheep herding show, piglet races, and a goat-milking experience. The first two will be canceled on rainy days. You can check the session times on this page of Pushin's official website.
