Taiwanese brown sugar cake is one of the simplest yet most delicious guilty pleasures. Before there were fancy desserts and candies, this is what we ate as kids. Let's make a keto version with no added sugar so that you can have all the tastiness but none of the guilt and refined carbs.

Keto Protein Brown Sugar Cake–Notes
I like to add some ground cinnamon when making sweets. Not just for the taste but because cinnamon creates a reaction in your body that is similar to an insulin spike. This gives your body an illusion and prevents your insulin from being too volatile. This could help prevent insulin resistance.
Make sure that you microwave twice instead of 4 minutes all at once or the cake would be more likely to overflow. I was once making a big birthday cake for myself and microwaved it for 5 minutes at once. The cake exploded all over the inside of the microwave and I felt like crying while I was cleaning up.
