My hair dresser told me that it's terrible to let hair dry naturally, especially long hair. This was a huge blow to a lazy person like me. She informed me that hair cuticles are wide open when they are wet, and blow drying is essential to ensuring the they close back up. Otherwise, the open cuticles cause hair to dry out and act like tiny bar wires that tangle and hurt each other.

It's Christmas so I got myself a new hair dryer as a Christmas present and I genuinely did not expect it to be such a good decision. TESCOM TID3500 saved me so much time and the small details of its design made this everyday task so much easier, I had to share it with everyone. Especially with people who has long hair. This fast-drying hair dryer has been such a life saver.

TESCOM TID3500 Review—Super Fast-Drying

Fast-drying is their strongest selling point of TESCOM TID3500. It's something that I have personally experienced and strongly stand behind. Honestly, I was gobsmacked. I have long hair that reaches my waist, and I hate that I have to wash my hair every day because it takes forever for it to dry. My original hair dryer also claim to be a professional hair dryer for hair salons, but it takes about 20–30 minutes for me to fully dry my hair with it.

With TESCOM TID 3500 hair dryer, I use the strong wind pressure hood and crank up the air flow to the largest, and it takes me around 5 minutes for my long hair to dry. Which amazed both my mom and myself.

TESCOM TID 3500 is super powerful at 1500W while using the hot setting at maximum air flow. This hair dryer also creates the largest air flow and wind pressure out of all hair dryers on the market at 2.5m³/min. The strong wind reaches all the way to my scalp, removing any excess water. Once my hair is semi-dry, I decrease the air flow. The continuous air flow adjustment design assures that I do not have to be limited by settings. It saves me so much time in the morning and I no longer dread washing my hair daily. Also, the shorter drying time plus the auto setting that releases hot and cool air at intervals mean that I am not dehydrating my hair and scalp.

I also love how the hoods of TESCOM TID3500 are snapped on with complimentary grooves and projections to secure the grip. With other products that I have used, you basically squeeze the hair dryer into the hood, hoping that you attached them tight enough so that it doesn't come off once the wind starts going. The hood of my hair dryer is so loose that I got hit in the head by it so many times mid-hair-drying. It seriously posed a huge threat to my remaining brain cells.

When I first received my package, I had no idea what it was. It was so light I thought it was impossible for it to be my new hair dryer! TESCOM TID3500 plus the 2 hoods only measure to be 750g. This takes a lot of strain off my arms when I am drying my hair and this also means that it is portable!

Every time I go to the beach, I would come home to Ares' place and after I shower, I have to struggle with his mini hair dryer that takes 40+ minutes to dry my long hair. I thought of bringing my own but my old hair dryer was massive and heavy. Just the thought of it was ridiculous. TESCOM TID3500 on the other hand, has a folding handle that makes it small and compact when not in use. It's also lighter than my toiletry bag alone.

The 1.7m-long cord means that I don't have to be constrained by the limited outlets either at home or when traveling. The long cord does not pose as a storage problem. With my old hair dryer, I had to purchase reusable zip ties to keep it organized. TESCOM TID3500 comes with its own velcro cord band. The cord is built with extra strength and endurance to ensure that it's long-lasting and that you wouldn't easily twist or damage it, which is the most common issue when it comes to broken hair dryers with power disconnection or shorting.

The plug also comes with a patented disconnect lever that you can easily push and detach from the outlet. It's really the small things in life that makes things easier. This also means that you don't have to yank on the cord to detach it, further making sure that no damage would come to the cord.

This is going to sound stupid, but I cannot even begin to count the times that I plugged in my old hair dryer while it was on and got smacked in the face with it or just generally had the living-hell scared out of me because NO ONE EXPECTS THAT.

TESCOM TID3500 has a smart power disconnect function. If the hair dryer is plugged in without being switch off, it would not power on until you switch it off first. This extra detail seems so trivial but actually ensures users' safety and elevated my entire user experience.

TESCOM TID3500 Review—Positive and Negative Ion Protection

Let's first take a look at how ionic hair dryer works because it honestly sounded like a popular scientific myth before I looked into it.

Ionic technology helps break up water particles so that hair remains hydrated after blow drying and is less likely to tangle or frizz. This also means that you don't have to subject your hair to hot air for a long period of time, which could cause your hair to dry out. Positively charge ions can bring you volume, but too much can lead to frizzy hair. Negatively charged ions help lock and flatten hair cuticles and trap the moisture, which gives you a shiny salon finish.

TESCOM TID3500 emits both positive and negative ions at the same time to reduce static yet provide volume, leaving you with smooth and glossy yet luscious results. I personally find that it is easier to comb through my damp hair when using TESCOM TID3500.

My hair is long, therefore heavy, so it often flattens on the top even when it is freshly washed and not greasy at all. I have previously turned to dry shampoo for volume but that gave me dandruff. Then I resorted to not combing through my hair and leaving them somehow tangled to provide volume. Which is in itself terrible, but worse for my fine hair. TESCOM TID3500 gave me more volume on the top of my head and also more lush to my beloved wavy hairstyle. My curls used to be slightly frizzy and tangled, which I learned is due to the positive ions from unsealed cuticles and follicles. Now, my locks are stabilized and I am left with smooth beachy waves.
