Taking pictures, photo editing, writing, and teaching. Literally everything I do involves staring at a screen. Plus, I wear my contact lenses almost the entire day except when I'm sleeping. So my eyes are usually really tired by the time I'm ready for bed. A few months ago I even started having blurry eye sight in one eye cause I've been overusing them and not taking my lutein. So I started looking for steam eye masks and other warm compression products for the eyes.

Most steam eye masks on the market require electricity and that's really not great for me since I don't have an outlet near my headboard. Other options are disposable steam eye masks; the individual plastic packaging and eye masks also create a lot of garbage.

To get quality sleep, one of the most important things is to sleep in total darkness–or at least make your brain believe it is so. Light not only disrupts our sleep, but also affects our hormones which diminishes our metabolism and fat burn. This is why I make sure that there is absolutely no light left on when I sleep. However, the weak lights from electronics and cellphone notifications are beyond my control. Plus, there is this neighboring business across the street that is extremely annoying. Sometimes, I would leave the heat packets in and just go to sleep. The graphene fabric makes sure that the heat is sustained; I feel like my whole head is lighter when I wake up after a night of sufficient rest and stress release.

It would be no problem if you want to take them with you and use it on a trip, spending a night out, or even during nap time at work.

It's great for people who have a history of allergies or sinus problems. Personally, I like to sleep on my side, but my nose get plugged very easily in this position. I would have to sleep on my back with my head lifted to relieve it. But I feel extremely insecure in that position and cannot fall asleep like that. This eye mask traps in warm air and my nose feels engulfed by steam. Meaning I could sleep in any way I like and still be able to breathe fine.
