This time, I visited M-Palace Leqing store, which is only a 2-3 minute walk from Exit 1 of MRT Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall Station. If you're driving, there is a paid parking lot just a 1-minute walk away in the same alley. The CTS building next door also has paid parking spaces in the basement. The location is extremely convenient.

The store has a simple white theme, creating a clean and bright space. The waiting area in front of the counter features large sofas and a variety of magazines. Inside, the seating area is spacious and comfortable. I didn't feel exhausted or confined even after spending 2 hours on my hair treatment. It was a relaxing and enjoyable experience.

The MEM Nourishing Collection is specifically formulated to address damaged and broken hair, utilizing platinum nano-complex capsules for deep repair. Just as skincare prioritizes proper moisturization, hair care starts with ensuring adequate hydration. That's why the MEM Nourishing Collection incorporates hyaluronic acid, which is essential for keeping the hair strands moisturized and elastic.

The MEM Nourishing Collection features a woody base note, but initially, the predominant scent is citrus with a subtle touch of orange blossom. The fragrance is derived from the top note of lemon, accompanied by the middle notes of orange blossom and freesia. I find it to be a universally appealing scent without being derivative and it provides a pleasant and relaxing olfactory experience. What sets this collection apart is the use of premium perfumes, resulting in impressive longevity. In fact, the fragrance lasted even longer for me than some high-end fragrances did.

Although the product claims a fragrance retention of only 3 hours, I could still detect a noticeable aroma on my hair after more than 24 hours. After my hair treatment in the afternoon, I didn't shampoo that same evening. The following day, despite walking extensively in hot weather and perspiring slightly, by late evening around 11 o'clock, my hair remained voluminous, non-greasy, and devoid of any unpleasant oily scalp odor. Additionally, with every flip of my hair, a distinct fragrance lingered in the air.

The first step of the immersive hair spa is shampooing. I scheduled an appointment with stylist Betty at M-Palace for my hair treatment. Although it was a regular hair wash, Betty's technique was truly remarkable! When I get haircuts or treatments, many stylists are overly cautious, washing my hair way too gently. I often feel like they aren't even touched my scalp! How can it possibly be proper cleansing? Betty didn't use her nails, instead she used her fingertips with just the right amount of pressure. Not only did this ensure a thorough cleansing, but it also felt like a head massage. I was so relaxed and comfortable that I almost fell asleep. It was as if all the accumulated stress in my head was instantly released.

After the hair wash, Betty generously applied more than half a tube of the MEM Nourishing Hair Mask. The texture of the hair mask was luxuriously rich, somewhat resembling a blend of body cream and hair conditioner. Betty used a brush to apply a thick layer of the hair mask to my hair, then evenly distributed and combed through it with her fingers. She applied two layers of the hair mask almost everywhere before twisting my hair up and wrapping it with saran wrap for steam treatment. The steam helps open the pores on the scalp and the cuticles of the hair strands, facilitating better absorption of the hair mask.

Once the hair mask was rinsed off, Betty applied a layer of hair oil while my hair was still fully wet. The MEM Nourishing Hair Oil is not thick or sticky like Moroccan oil, but rather similar to the facial serums used for skincare. Once my hair was half-way dry and just slightly damp, Betty applied another layer of hair oil, paying extra attention to repairing the ends.

Noticing that my natural hairstyle is wavy, Betty used a curling iron to create large waves after blow-drying my hair. Before using the heated curling iron, she applied a touch more hair oil to the ends for extra protection.

The transformation in my hair's texture after the treatment was instantly evident. It felt incredibly smooth to the touch, and there was no more frizz. When I flipped my hair, it had a delightful bounce to it. Even when I attempted to put my hair in a ponytail, I felt as if the strands were slipping out of my grip. The next day, after washing my hair, I could easily run my fingers through it without encountering any tangles, even while it was still wet.
