Is it just me or do we all stare at our blackheads obsessively in front of the mirror? I've tried so many ways to get rid of them. I know nose sticker strips are harmful, but what else can I do?

My salicylic acid serum has helped me with my blind pimples, but the black heads on my nose doesn't seem like they wanted to budge. I've even resorted to acne vacuums, and I just ended up bruising my whole face.

Recently, as I was browsing through a Korean cosmetics seller I often shop with, trying to find something to add to cart so I can get free shipping, I stumbled upon Ilso Natural Mild Clear Nose Pack. I was compelled by a before and after photo posted in the reviews and thought I had to try it out.

I also took pictures to make sure that it works and it's not just me playing mind games on myself, so these are all no-filter photos that I originally took for myself. But I was so happy with the results and my nose feels so smooth that I had to share it!

Ilso Natural Mild Clear Nose Pack works just like a sheet mask face pack. There are 2 steps to it. The first step is a sheet mask that is a bit slimey. It's made from environmentally friendly natural fiber, also known as bio-cellulose or microbial cellulose. This material is often used to make artificial skin, which explains its stretchy, rubbery texture.

This is supposed to be left on for 10–15minutes. Once I removed the sheet, I could visibly see that so many of my blackheads and whiteheads have oozed out of my pores and the surface of my nose was covered in gunk! Honestly, I wasn't sure how to feel. I was grossed out that all that was in my face, happy that they were now out, and also having my trypophobia triggered.

The nose pack comes with disposable pimple extracting tools. One side is a scrap with a pimple popping hole in the center, the other side is a q-tip. First, wipe off all the gunk on the surface with the q-tip. Then, lightly scrap your nose with the other side. Because it is made from plastic, it is a lot less intense than reusable metal pimple extract tools that often leaves my nose red and painful.

After using the sheet from step one, some light scrapping took out the majority of the visible pimples on my nose. There are a few blackheads that were a bit more stubborn and required some popping, but that wasn't a laborious process either.

Once I was done with this step, my nose was basically clean! Of course, not EVERYTHING has been removed, but I think you can tell from the pictures that it is much much better and there aren't many visible bumps left. However, you can also see that my pores are now wide open, which leads us to the next step.

Main ingredients: purslane extract, lilac extract, green tea extract

Step 2 is another sheet mask with serum to help close pores after all the extraction. They made the sheet mask under high pressure so that it retains the serum better.

Purslane extract, lilac extract, and green tea extract all have strong anti-aging properties and can help calm irritated sin, reduce redness, treat acne and acne scarring, as well as moisturize and boost your skin's natural defense system. Green tea extract can also reduce inflammation.

After using step 2, I can no longer see the visible openings of my pores and my skin also becomes very smooth and shiny.

I also tested this on my forehead, where I have more stubborn pimples. I had to leave the first step on for longer, about 20 minutes, to get more visible results. There are also more pimples that required a bit of light pushing, I was still satisfied with the smooth results though. So for people with blackheads that are more stubborn than mine, it might not work as easily as it did with my nose, but it should clear up quite significantly after 2–3 times.

Bottom line, these worked wonders on me, which you can clearly see in the un-retouched photos and I really have no incentive to lie. I am not being paid to review or recommend this product at all. These are also really affordable, so if you are plagued with blackheads, I think those are definitely worth a try.

As for myself, I have just placed an order for 10 more of these. I genuinely don't know why they don't make this a whole face pack, cause I would buy that in an instant.
